I am a project associate at one of the highly ranked engineering institutes of my country –The Indian Institute Of Technology, Roorkee, India. I am an avid learner and have been working on state-of-the-art technologies associated with deep learning for the past 3 years. I have been involved in object detection on UAV images, having extensively worked on YOLO and RetinaNet deep learning models. My work also involves image processing using OpenCV and Python and I have developed an intrusion detection system using my expertise in this domain. Object tracking using fixed cameras and face recognition system are some of the other areas in which I have worked too. A strong programming background clubbed with my enthusiasm to learn and deliver has also led me to develop independent working modules resulting in automating processes that involved long hours of data compilation.
I have a strong programming background because of which I can easily get my hands on any new programming skill. Recently, I abreast myself with Python, OpenCV, Keras TensorFlow framework which is an underlying requirement in deep learning applications.
My current role is based on AI-based object detection and 3D modelling. I have been working on projects related to rail track monitoring and pavement health assessment, which involved detection of rail fasteners and cracks and potholes respectively.
