About

My name is Florencia Vilches, I am from Argentina, and I hold a Spanish Teacher (ELE) Degree from Buenos Aires Academy, “Instituto Cervantes”, and i am doing my Master in Education (ELE) with Universidad Tecnológica (Tech). I have gained experience working as a freelance professor of Spanish, giving private lessons through "Superproof Platform" and also working for "English Door School" as a tutor of all levels of Spanish language. I am relatively new in the teaching field, however teaching Spanish -my mother tongue- to foreigners is something I am very passionate about. I consider myself a very structured person, and applying my knowledge in combination with all the tools and teaching techniques that I have learnt during my Spanish Teacher (ELE) Degree studies is very satisfying to me. I have always had a facility in communicating with people from different countries and cultures, and being a professor now is a rewarding experience, the progress of my students and the feedback I receive are constantly motivating me to grow in the field of teaching. I have worked several years in the cruise ship industry, communicating in both English and Spanish with people from all around the world, and that was when I realized that Spanish is a language interesting to the majority of foreigners. This inspired me in my decision to teach my native language and become a Spanish teacher when I returned to my country. During my life journey, I have been to 45 different countries and have explored and learned about different cultures. All these experiences have formed me to the person that I am today and help me better understand and comprehend people, especially when working in a multicultural environment.
