Imaan is a British-born Journalist, and Digital Media Specialist who splits her time between London and Istanbul. Her childhood love and fascination with cameras was her segue to the world of storytelling and journalism.
She is a multiracial polyglot who has experience in photojournalism, photography, editing, producing, design, creative consulting and translation.
She has worked on films, documentary series, and as a content specialist and photojournalist in Istanbul where she documented life in refugee camps on the Turkish - Syrian border. Her published works include humanitarian photo books, exhibitions, articles, and her first short documentary “Hobe.”
She currently freelances as a photojournalist and photographer and offers creative consulting services in social media planning, video editing, and social media management, in addition to translation services in English, Arabic and Turkish.
