The Struggle is a satirical news program run by Monash University students that airs on Channel 31 Melbourne and Geelong.
My key roles as a video editor was to:
- Edit correspondent packages and studio segments to tight deadlines;
- Use Adobe Premier Pro and Adobe Photoshop to design graphics, add animations, music, transitions, and captions to enhance packages;
- Work with writers and correspondents to ensure the final product of the correspondent’s piece is satirical and engaging;
- Assist with studio and on-location filming by setting up cameras and operating auto-cues.
