Job Summary:
Finance interns will assist in the development of more streamlined processes related to forecasting and monthly and quarterly reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will be able to use our BI tools to develop insightful reporting and visualizations that help tell the story of the financial health of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop an understanding of business financial models and propose ideas for process improvements
Create reports, charts, and other visualizations to tell the story of business performance
Utilize multiple software platforms to simplify the monthly accounting close cycle and reduce the time invested in the development of periodic reporting
Perform ad hoc analysis and requests for gathering data
Recommended Skills & Experience:
Candidates currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other related fields
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, primarily Excel
High attention to detail with strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Track record of taking ownership of assignments and seeing them through to completion
Ability to collaborate with team members across different departments
Must be available for a full-time paid internship
