Job Description, "Our client is one of the fastest growing Fintech companies the UK. Our award-winning technology is used by some of the UK’s leading retail banks, lenders and fintech companies. We are looking for talented front-end developers to join us in this period of growth to help build our exciting product roadmap. There are numerous projects on-going and many in their infancy. Technology used is a mixture of PHP, MySQL and Angular JS stack and all hosted in the cloud. Additionally, the role will encompass support, maintenance and improvements in systems availability, performance, and functionality.
What we're looking for:
More than 5 years working with the Angular framework or similar.
Previous experience of library dependency management using NPM or similar.
The ability to develop unit & integration tests using JavaScript test frameworks, e.g., Karma, Jasmine, Cypress.io.
Experience using version control (Github) HTML5 experience You know how to use design patterns to create simple and reusable components for complex UIs.
Desirable Experience:
Experience working with AWS and its features.
Experience of developing a SPA.
Understanding of BDD/TDD.
Microservices / Docker.
Knowledge of modern UI styling approaches using CSS, Sass or CSS-in-JSS solutions bootstrap LTS or similar Front-End Toolkit.
NodeJS / NPM / Grunt / WebPack. NoSQL, such as Elasticsearch.
Practical examples of using best practice software development principles, e.g SOLID
Some knowledge of PHP back end frameworks, Laravel/Symfony advantageous. Good Jira + Confluence skills.
