In this project, the App collects speech data in Danish to train and develop artificial intelligence algorithms used to improve speech recognition technologies.
We are looking for people in Denmark to read and record short prompts using our App Appen Mobile.
Project Description:
The task contains a total of 1000 short sentences, which you must read on a screen and record using the Appen Mobile app. You just have to follow the sentences that are written in Danish, you don't have to make up your own sentences.
Example of a sentence to read: "Okay Alexa, I need directions to work"
Time consumption:
Each sentence will take an average of 3 to 6 seconds. In total, you must plan 5 hours for the 1000 recordings. Of course, we recommend that you take breaks and we give you at least 7 days to record your session.
Required Conditions:
-Has a newer smartphone
*The iOS device must be iPhone 8 or later
*Android devices must be 2017 or newer
-You must have Danish as your mother tongue and be a resident of Denmark
-Able to record in a very quiet indoor environment, free of background noise
