Our Travel Consultant business opportunity prepares you to act as a liaison, provide travel product/services information, answer travel/destination questions, and resolve any emerging problems that clients might face with accuracy and efficiency.
Your main goal is to treat clients professionally and exceptionally while coordinating their travel requests.
The best Consultants are genuinely excited to help clients. They’re patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative. They love to talk and understand the value of good communication skills. Problem-solving also comes naturally due to the ever changing travel industry. They are confident at troubleshooting and investigating if they don’t have enough information to answer client questions or resolve complaints.
-Research travel locations for clients and organize their specialized itineraries
-Identify and assess clients’ needs to achieve satisfaction
-Build sustainable relationships and trust with clients through open and interactive communication
-Provide accurate, valid and complete travel documents
-Handle client complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
-Keep records of client interactions, process client accounts and file documents
-Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
-Promote current travel deals and perks via social media or varying platforms
Qualifications and Skills:
-Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
-Access to smartphone, laptop/desktop, tablet
-Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
-Excellent communication and presentation skills
-Self-Starter; eager to learn
-Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
