• +5 years of experienceExperience working with the JVM (Scala is a plus);
• Fluent english (will be tested);
• Functional programming;
• Relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, Couchbase, etc);
• Unit tests and stress tests (JUnit, ScalaTest, JMeter);
• REST web services;
• Microservices concepts and frameworks (Lagom, Play Framework, etc);
• Docker and container-based virtualization;
• Unix command line tools;
• Git concepts and commands;
• Familiar with Agile methodologies and software design patterns;
• Willingness to take technical and functional ownership of critical areas of the
Project.
