We are currently looking for Early Years Homeroom Kindergarten Teacher for their International Kindergarten.
Start date: April 2023
We are seeking:
Homeroom Kindergarten Teachers
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm
Curriculum: Blended IB and Montessori ( phonics+theme vocabulary+reading)
Age of Students: 2-6 Years Old
Location: Downtown Shanghai, China
Near Line 7 Changping Road (昌平路) (5mins-8mins walk)
Requirements:
-British, American, South African, Irish, Australian, New Zealand & Canadian candidates. Bachelor's degree or above is required l
-Current, valid state teaching certification or TEFL/TESOL certification required l
-A minimum of two years of relevant teaching experience l
-Working knowledge of PBL is preferred l
-Experience working with children who have English as a Second Language is desirable l
-Open-minded, pleasant personality and team player.
If Candidate is not in China, you will need to prepare the following documents for the school to apply for you a legal work Visa.
1) original bachelor's degree hardcopy
2) Authenticated photocopy of bachelor's degree from the Chinese embassy or visa center
3) reference letter with 2 years teaching experience if you do not have tefl
4) Hardcopy of original 120hours TEFL
/TESOL/CELTA certificate
5) Authenticated photocopy of TEFL/TESOL/CELTA from the Chinese embassy or visa center
6) Non criminal record(6 months validation from date of issue)
7) Authenticated photocopy of Non-criminal record from the Chinese embassy or visa center.
Key Responsibilities:
-To teach kids aged 6 and above in the primary section l
-Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirement of the curriculum program and show written evidence of preparation as required l
-Conduct ongoing assessment of student achievement through formal and informal assignments l
-Maintain a professional relationship with colleagues, students, and parents l
-Organize the classroom and learning resources and create displays to encourage a positive learning environment
