Storj is looking for an inquisitive Data Analyst to join our small but growing Data Science and Engineering Team. As a member of the Data Team, you will make an impact by uncovering key business insights throughout our evolving product, marketing initiatives, and growing network of storage nodes. You will collaborate with stakeholders from across the company to draw connections throughout the data and identify strategic growth opportunities.
*Manage data discovery process by integrating Storj network data with marketing data to analyze impact of marketing initiatives on key metrics such as growth, retention and churn.
*Stay current with the state of the network to spot trends in storage node and customer behavior and seek out creative ways to analyze the data.
*Occasionally apply common statistical methods, data modeling, and predictive analysis to answer strategic questions.
*Provide actionable insights to business leaders and stakeholders through visualizations and dashboards, using data to tell a clear and compelling story.
*Play an active role in the development and documentation of a data dictionary, and on-going maintenance of a data governance operation.
*3+ years of experience as a data analyst with expertise in Python and SQL; familiarity with or a willingness to learn Golang (GO).
*Experience creating data pipelines to collect and integrate data from a variety of sources.
*Ability to apply statistical methods, develop predictive models, interpret results, and communicate to stakeholders.
