Objective:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevExpress XAF WinForms Optimization Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing our existing DevExpress XAF WinForms applications, ensuring they perform efficiently, scale appropriately, and meet the needs of our users. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with a focus on performance tuning, code optimization, and a deep understanding of the DevExpress XAF framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in our existing DevExpress XAF WinForms applications, including database access, UI rendering, and application logic.
Code Review and Refactoring: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, identify areas for improvement, and refactor code to optimize performance and maintainability.
Collaboration: Work closely with our development team, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand application requirements, provide recommendations, and implement solutions that enhance the user experience.
Testing and Debugging: Develop and execute testing plans to validate performance improvements. Debug and resolve issues that may arise during the optimization process.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of all optimization efforts, including changes made, performance benchmarks, and best practices for future reference.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies related to DevExpress XAF, WinForms, and application optimization to ensure our applications remain cutting-edge.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Extensive experience with DevExpress XAF framework, specifically in the context of WinForms applications.
- Proven track record of optimizing complex software systems for performance and scalability.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in C# and .NET Framework.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database performance optimization.
- Familiarity with application profiling tools and techniques.
- Experience with multi-threading and asynchronous programming in WinForms applications.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other DevExpress components, such as ASP.NET or WPF.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Previous experience in a similar optimization-focused role.
