Location: The successful candidate may be based in a country where one of the independent National/Regional Greenpeace organisations (NRO’s) is located (subject to agreement). See the locations here. Greenpeace International is looking for a Documentation and Training Coordinator to help the global network achieve engagement and impact through the provision of engagement technologies documentation, training and community support.
The International Technology Department delivers technology and data solutions that enable the Greenpeace network to win campaigns and engage with millions of people around the world.
Responsible for maintaining documentation for our engagement systems and for conceptualising and implementing online courses, you will provide inspiring training, thought leadership and technical content to equip the Greenpeace community to manage technologies. You will play an essential global networking role, ensuring great collaboration with and between National/Regional Offices (NROs) and the international product teams.
In this role you will:
Create, review and continuously update all documentation produced by the international product team.
Ensure that up to date documentation covering the full range of product functionality, technical architecture, and process management is available and maintained.
Coordinate with other team members (designers, developers, data analysts) to ensure documentation is accurate and available for the community.
Document bug reports and evaluate feature requests, relaying key information and working with practitioners and the product team to find solutions.
As required, spin-off new documentation platforms, merge multiple repositories, decommission legacy ones or join/lead documentation-related projects.
Coordinate and produce a wide array of training materials and online courses to meet the needs of the practitioner community.
Work closely with the product team to ensure that NRO training needs are identified/met and support NRO practitioners with understanding capabilities, change management processes, project delivery, etc.
Act as an approachable knowledge base and liaison between the practitioner community and core team.
Communicate product features, capabilities and benefits through presentations, architecture diagrams, graphics/illustrations, videos, solution guides, case studies, blog posts, etc.
Promote local NRO innovations and developments that improve or extend product utility, and identify and encourage product champions who emerge from the practitioner community.

Job requirements
What we’re looking for:
Extensive relevant experience working with engagement technology (e.g., direct marketing platforms, online campaigning, blogging platforms, etc.).
Strong history of content creation, including product documentation, detailed product collateral, architecture diagrams, etc.
Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities.
Superb writing and public speaking skills, with a passion for communicating through compelling stories and for taking the complex and making it simple.
A high-energy, creative, innovative and charismatic approach, with experience of tight deadlines and stressful conditions.
Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, and preferably one other foreign language.
Previous experience in an international and culturally diverse environment
Support for and belief in Greenpeace’s core aims and values.
