HMG is seeking two people to fill land-based roles in South Carolina, USA. You MUST be legal to work in USA.
Role 1 is for an electrician to work in a shipyard for America's leading marine service provider. You should be a qualified Electrician with at least 3 years’ experience in the Maritime Industry with knowledge of high and low voltage systems and electronics such as GPS and Radar. Raymarine or Garmin experience or training is highly desirable.
Role 2 is for a HVAC Technician to work in the same shipyard. You will be required to have an EPA Certificate for purchasing and handling refrigerant. Dometic experience is highly desirable, most of the work revolves around fixing leaks, recharging split units, and changing out circuit boards.
Entry pay is $35/hr based on an 80hr fortnight. Any overtime is paid at time and a half, overtime is any extra work performed excluding holidays and paid time off.
There is a sign on bonus on offer as well as many other generous benefits. Pay and conditions are reviewed at a 30, 60 and then 90-day period for the initial startup period. Training and tool allowances are also on offer for the right candidates.
