The General Manager (GM) is responsible for all operational components of our maintenance business. They actively manage a team of 5-8 technicians to ensure they complete tasks/jobs efficiently and profitably. The GM is the first line of customer support, responding promptly to customer emails and phone calls, assessing work requests, creating estimates, and communicating the schedule and project progress with customers. They are the brains of the operation to support the technicians, order materials, and solve problems in real-time. In addition, the GM will analyze data from multiple sources to create reports on technicians’ productivity, service pricing, and project profitability.
Compensation and Structure:
Rental Property Maintenance Contractors is based in California and specializes in maintaining and improving residential rental properties. This is a full-time, permanent position starting at $9.00/hour USD. The normal work schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
QUALIFICATIONS
Native English, both verbal and written
5+ years of Project Management experience
Strong data analytics experience
Expertise in Google Sheets or MS Excel
Effective communicator
Exceptionally detail-oriented and organized
Experience with US residential home systems, terminology, and maintenance processes
Maintenance troubleshooting experience
Experience working from home; a quiet home office environment; licensed operating software
High-speed internet, a computer that is less than 2 years old, and noise-canceling headphones

RESPONSIBILITIES
Dispatch and support a team of maintenance technicians
Deliver excellent customer service
Answer phone calls and make outbound calls; manage emails and text messages
Qualify incoming work orders by asking exploratory questions regarding the maintenance concern
Create estimates and gain customer approvals
Invoice for completed work
Analyze data from multiple sources using Google Sheets
Create reports on technician productivity, pricing, and company profitability
Source new subcontractors and promote lasting relationships with current subcontractors
Execute all other duties assigned by the Company Owners
