Responsibilities
Maintenance & Enhancement, Development, Bug fixing primarily using Core Java, Struts2, Spring, Hibernate and Oracle.
Independently work in application development & maintenance/enhancement projects
Analyze and document different approaches to solving technical problems or provide business solutions
Demonstrate good understanding of the Functional aspects of the applications
Conduct Integration, Regression /Functional Testing
Meet deadlines for deliverables.
Coordinate with Team Lead and keep Team Lead appraised of issues that affect the project and the deliverables of the project
Ensure that the project and organization standards are followed during various phases of software development life-cycle and day to day development work.
Contributing Responsibilities
Participate in configuration & release management.
L3 technical support to production and UAT environments.

Skills:
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Hands on Development Experience on Core Java 1.6 and above.
Working experience and understanding of Spring MVC, Hibernate.
Hands on Experience on PL SQL using Oracle 11g and above, with clear understanding of Stored Procedures, Triggers and Indexes
Knowledge of OO Concepts, SOLID principles, design patterns.
Excellent working knowledge of Internet Web 2.0 : HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap
Working knowledge of Application servers: Tomcat, Apache
Good Analytical skills, ability to find solutions to technical problems.
Deep technical knowledge in systems, application frameworks, database optimization, and experience being responsible for the success of software development projects
Ability to present multiple solution options, and drive defect free products.
Proven record interpreting and fulfilling requirements by developing high performing, scalable and maintainable solutions with multiple technologies
Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, deployment automation, code reviews, and test driven development.
Strong coordination and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a simple concise manner
