A large textile company is seeking a junior stock controller to provide assistance between the warehouse and office.
Job Description
·
Accurately inspect returned goods and complete the credit process.
·
Effectively control stock –
active stock stakes, resolve stock level issues, adjustments and stock
replenishment.
·
Accurately inspect deliveries to insure it matches the order, packing
lists and invoice criteria.
·
Receive stock from suppliers and update
inventories with received items (GRV).
·
Maintaining of records of orders and delivery details (scan and upload).
·
Operate as part of a highly effective warehouse operations team.
·
Effective monitoring of stock minimum quantities.
·
Stock quantity calculations for replenishment.
·
Ensuring appropriate systems, checks and balances are in place on order
to ensure accountability and tracing of stock at every stage. Introducing new
systems as required. Ensuring compliance by all parties to the system and procedures.
·
Controlling and assisting with all facets of the stock room such as
stock deliveries, stock transfers), keeping track of various product minimum
quantities and "first in-first out" concept on selective products.
·
Follow up on all sales orders/stock with branches
·
Stock is to be placed in the correct allocated bins
·
Run reports weekly to identify discrepancies on stock figures, any discrepancies
found are to be resolved
·
Ensure the minimum and maximum levels of stock is maintained and
monitored.
Requirements
- Matric
- Minimum 2 years stock controller experience
- A qualification would be n added advantage
