FOLLOW ON LINKEDIN: About The Role We are looking for a highly motivated Marketing Officer to support our business development operations. The main objective of this position is to oversee all marketing operations across the company, work with co-founders to further develop marketing strategy, conduct market research, etc. If you have direct and relevant experience in marketing, ran multiple successful marketing campaigns, and are proficient in conducting good market research, then this position is for you. Role Objectives & Responsibilities Plan, prepare and manage the publication and distribution of publicity materials. Devise marketing campaign, design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals. Conduct thorough market research and establish the best way to reach target groups. Write, edit and proofread marketing material for use in different channels. Writing and proofreading creative copy for the website and campaigns. Coordinate with other departments, for example designers, to produce marketing material. Line manage the Social Media Officer and the Brand Relations & Outreach Officer. Scheduling timelines for when each department shall have content posted across various media. Analyse the impact of marketing campaigns and prepare measurement reports. Write press releases and communicate with the media. Skills & Requirements BSc degree in marketing or business management. Proficient in the various marketing software. Strong writing skills: able to write high level copy. Medium will be varied – the web, email, brochures, newsletters, press releases. Management and delegation skills. Networking and communication skills: able to represent the company at events and be comfortable talking to potential customers, opinion formers and suppliers. Strong research skills: able to conduct thorough market research, and create analysis reports. An in depth understanding of how to effectively convey messages. Past experience in marketing is preferred. Knowledge and understanding of the fashion industry. Essential Personal Qualities Excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas and suggestions. Able to give and receive constructive criticism. Ability to multitask and work with tight deadlines. Strong team player who can collaborate effectively with different departments. Highly organised individuals with effective time management skills (planning, scheduling, etc…) and ability to meet deadlines. Be communicative, punctual, creative and thoughtful, open to new ideas, and a keen eye for aesthetics and details. Excellent creative ability and understanding of how to effectively convey messages.
