Core Team: Marketing Director
Hypernest is the first Web3 accelerator DAO with an innovative governance and consensus mechanism built on Colony. The DAO is a brand new organization looking for brave and ambitious core members eager to build an empire starting from an outpost.
The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with deep experience in Marketing for SMEs and relevant knowledge of blockchain technology. Are you ready to navigate uncharted waters to build the most innovative accelerator DAO in the world?
1. Key Responsibilities:
- Determine a global multichannel strategy to grow the brand equity of our accelerator DAO
- Structure and champion initiatives to boost startup acquisition
- Expand our community with a special focus on increasing its participation, in particular in our DAO and Discord
- Determine the investor relationship initiatives to develop and maintain an appetite for our token, also considering the legal implications of our strategies
- Support initiatives that are in our pipeline (e.g., Podcasts, Hackathons, etc.) considering that we are experimenting with hybrid Online - Offline formats
- Hire and train junior team members as well as deal with external contractors
- Build strategic partnership for the benefit of our Accelerator as well as our startups
- Guide DAO community members that want to participate in our marketing activities being paid in our native tokens
- Administer our marketing budget considering our milestones and our fundraising rounds
2. Functional Skills Required:
- Min 3 years of experience in developing and executing multi-touchpoint Marketing strategies with a focus on Social Media Marketing
- Demonstrated expertise in the growth of communities organically as well as using growth hacking strategies
- Min 1 year of experience for marketing in the crypto space
- At least one year of experience in paid advertising, having measurable results. It is preferable if it was for complex industries (e.g., blockchain, gambling, adult entertainment, etc.) due to the challenge of running ads for Web3 companies.
- Capable of forming and leading a team with full-time and external contributors

4. Additional Preferred Background/Skillsets:
- Previous experience in the Web3 arena
- At least one year of experience working and managing distributed team members. It would be a plus if those teams were in different time zones
- Experience with marketing strategy for early-stage startups
- Participated in the growth of an early-stage startup
- Previous collaboration with a DAO
