As a full-time Medical Assistant - you are a part of a collaborative team scribing for and supporting dermatology providers at all of our Chicago practice locations (as needed). You are ensuring that all patients receive high quality, efficient, and comprehensive care, while demonstrating consistent adherence to the practice’s standards and procedures. You are an integral part of helping to communicate with and educate patients, as well as assisting providers during medical and cosmetic procedures. You are detailed-oriented, proactive, initiative-taking individual with a passion for healthcare. A plus - previous scribing and clinical experience!
You have EMR experience - preferably Nextech, ModMed (Ema), or comparable software. CPR / BLS & Bloodborne Pathogen Certification preferred. Along with basic typing, computer, English, and mathematical skills, you also have an appropriate sense of discretion in dealing with varied and difficult situations; ensure compliance with all HIPPPA regulations; and able to communicate effectively with providers, patients, co-workers, and vendors. In addition, you have the ability to work as a team member; manage multiple tasks simultaneously and excel under pressure; be empathetic with patients’ needs and concerns; be attentive to detail; and be able to convey a positive, professional attitude in all your interactions with others.
