Responsibilities • 24*7 Support of CLIENT production Openshift environment o including operations, incidents, problem tickets and execution of changes • Proactively and continuously improve the service through o driving further automation o fixing incident root causes o suggesting more agile and effective ways of working • Take full ownership of incoming actions and issues and drive them to resolution o Work within a tight Cloud Operations multi-skilled team o Consulting with other team members to extend your reach to get to success • Handle the incident tickets depending on priority and work with vendors if required • Ensure contractual SLAs are met • Conform and adhere to change management process for customer environments. • Understand and contribute to processes and tools used by team • Identify areas of operations quality deficit or automation opportunities • Contribute relevant automation and operation artefacts back to CLIENT Cloud offerings Skills and Qualifications • Troubleshooting skills for complex production issues • Experience to work on 24/7 support environment • Knowledge of container technologies • Understanding of OpenShift/Kubernetes architecture and components • Expertise in Linux Operating System • Ansible,Shell or python knowledge Experience with the following operational tools, concepts & technologies as required: Work within the team to deliver a multi-skilled capability across multiple container technologies and disciplines, participate in continuous upskill and training to maintain individual and team skills such as: • Understanding of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) is must • Strong Openshift/Kubernetes knowledge • Experience working on ansible, shell or python • OpenShift Enterprise implementation and support • Configure and deploy OpenShift node hosts • Deploy the OpenShift Enterprise authentication • Manage OpenShift Enterprise resources • Creating projects for application team and provide necessary permission • Experience with supporting and automating infrastructure with Ansible • Expertise in one or more of the following technical domains: Linux, Container, Scripting, Security • Monitors performance and capacity of Systems and advise on changes required to improve the uptime of these systems • Monitor Applications and respond to alerts appropriately
