Parts Runner/ HVAC Technician Apprentice
Location: Linwood, NJ
Full-time, Monday- Friday
Salary: $15/ hour
Burns Recruitment is partnered with a company in the HVAC industry to find a Parts Runner.
Overview:
We are looking for individuals who are seeking a career as a HVAC Technician. Most runners are transferred after 3-6 months to become a technician. The basic function of the parts runner is to go to the supply houses, pick up parts and deliver them to the jobs as well as pick up parts/paperwork from the field personnel as required.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
Driving/Delivery experience preferred
Ability to work independently
Ability to accurately enter information in the computer
Ability to represent our company in a professional manner with customers, vendors, staff and the general public
Ability to communicate effectively with field personnel and managers
Adaptability—the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events

Responsibilities:
Coordinate with warehouse supervisor to plan routes, pick up, and deliver materials to field personnel
Help with preparing materials for jobs as needed
Help with physical inventory (monthly)
Help in AM with getting the field personnel out of shop
Help ensure field personnel have what they need for jobs
Check pricing on PO’s
Communicate with suppliers
Check product in from suppliers when needed
Other tasks as requested by the warehouse supervisor, General Manager and CEO
