Burns Recruitment has partnered with a leading healthcare organization in Eugene, OR, who is currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join their dynamic team. This is a Full-Time position offering a competitive salary range of $36.80 – $55.20 per hour.

In this role, you will play a vital role in evaluating, treating, and instructing patients to address physical disability, bodily malfunction, and pain. Through comprehensive tests and measurements, you will assess patient functionality and create personalized treatment programs incorporating a wide range of physical measures, activities, and devices for preventive and therapeutic purposes.
Requirements:
Current licensure in the State of Oregon as a Physical Therapist, with a certificate for practicing without referral preferred.
Demonstrated experience in an outpatient orthopedics setting is highly preferred.
Possess knowledge of general physical therapy theory and practice, including biological, physical, social, and medical sciences, to effectively address patient care challenges.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, allowing you to effectively communicate with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
Flexibility to handle a variety of duties while maintaining sound evaluation and judgment skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as an integral part of our esteemed Physical & Hand Therapy team.
Primary Duties:
Diagnose and manage movement dysfunction, working towards enhancing physical and functional abilities.
Restore, maintain, and promote optimal physical function, wellness, fitness, and quality of life, emphasizing the critical relationship between movement and overall health.
Take preventive measures to minimize the onset, symptoms, and progression of impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities resulting from various conditions and injuries.
Conduct thorough initial evaluations by reviewing patient history, performing comprehensive tests, and measurements to identify existing and potential deficits.
Implement scheduled patient treatments, utilizing evidence-based approaches and innovative techniques.
Continuously re-examine patients, modifying interventions as necessary to achieve desired goals and outcomes.
Develop and implement comprehensive discharge plans, ensuring a smooth transition for patients post-treatment.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation of patient care, adhering to established standards and guidelines.
Foster effective communication and collaboration with physicians, referral sources, and other healthcare staff to optimize patient treatment and progress.
Conduct pre-placement tests, injury prevention screens, and essential function testing according to established criteria as required.
Uphold strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA rules and regulations when handling sensitive patient information.
Demonstrate a caring and empathetic demeanor when interacting with patients, clients, and coworkers, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
Attend departmental meetings and actively participate in departmental outreach activities, showcasing your dedication to professional growth and community engagement.
