Position Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Procurement Specialist to join our team, focusing on professional nail products. The ideal candidate will manage and optimize our procurement activities by forecasting product demands, maintaining supplier relationships, tracking shipments, and processing purchase orders efficiently. This role requires an individual with a keen understanding of inventory management and a strategic approach to supplier collaboration to ensure the timely availability of high-quality nail products. Key Responsibilities: - Demand Forecasting: Analyze sales trends, market dynamics, and promotional activities to accurately forecast the required quantities of nail products. - Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers, evaluate supplier performance, and seek out new suppliers to enhance business efficiency and product quality. - Purchase Order Management: Generate, process, and track purchase orders. Ensure that purchasing documents are complete and accurate and comply with company policies. - Shipment Tracking: Oversee the logistics of shipments, ensuring timely delivery of products. Address and resolve any shipping issues or discrepancies that arise. - Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and lead times to maintain optimal stock levels. Adjust procurement plans based on inventory status and forecast adjustments. - Cost Management: Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive prices and terms. Monitor market trends to anticipate price changes and supply constraints. - Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all procurement activities comply with industry and regulatory standards. Prepare and present regular reports on procurement status and outcomes. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. - Proven experience in procurement, ideally within the beauty or nail products industry. - Strong analytical skills and proficiency in forecasting and inventory management software. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks. - Knowledge of supply chain management processes and key logistics considerations. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
