Rigging characters, props, and environment assets for use in animation and visual effects
Collaborating with animators, modelers, and other artists to ensure rigs meet production standards and creative goals
Developing and implementing efficient rigging workflows and techniques
Troubleshooting and problem-solving rigging issues throughout production
Creating and maintaining clear and comprehensive documentation of rigging processes and assets
Staying up-to-date with industry trends and techniques in rigging and animation technology
Managing and organizing rigging assets and files to ensure smooth production pipeline
Requirements:
Rigging artist should have strong knowledge of Maya and other 3D software
They should have good understanding of human and animal anatomy
Rigging artist should have experience in creating rigs for characters, props, and vehicles
They should have knowledge of various rigging techniques such as skinning, blend shapes, and deformers
Ability to work in a team and collaborate with animators, modelers, and other artists
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot rigging issues
Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders
Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously"
