Job description Ethis is a pioneer Islamic fintech startup with licenses in Indonesia, Malaysia and Oman. We are now in our global expansion phase and seeking for a Senior HR Executive to help us scale and built a strong team for Ethis Group. Important: In your role, you will be leading a distributed team based in different countries. We very much prefer candidates with experience in tech or fintech startups/ scale-ups. Job Scope Develop and administer HR & Admin programs and initiatives to align all employees with the strategic goals of the Group. This includes the development and enhancement of HR and Admin related SOPs, processes and policies. Lead the implementation of a suitable performance management system within the Group that includes assisting supervisory staff with tailored performance development plans (PDPs) for individual employees. Propose, advise and assist Group and entity level management on compensation related matters including base salaries, benefits, incentives, bonuses and raises, to foster and enhance employee satisfaction. Implement, manage and enhance workplace improvement programs, such as physical, mental and spiritual health programs, and other activities aimed at fostering a positive workplace and remote work environment including work-life balance. Provide day to day advice to line managers and employees on general HR related queries, and requests, escalating more complex issues to respective CEO’s, Group COO or Group MD. Lead and effectively manage Group wide recruitment efforts and manage all HR activities including providing appropriate reports from the HR database for the purpose of auditing and monitoring employee data and training (TNA, etc) Manage all applications related to EXPAT employment including Foreign Knowledge Worker (FKW) visa from the Immigration Department and/or other authorities (MDEC). Lead and manage all aspects of the office’s space/infrastructure needs (moves, adds, and changes to workstations, etc). Identify and secure any relevant HR grants and incentives such as Penjana 3.0 & PSU 4.0. Protect the interests of employees and the Group in accordance with company HR policies and applicable employment laws and regulations. Enhance the brand value of the Group by effective story-telling and messaging to the different stakeholders. Drive strategic HR partnership engagements. Formulate yearly budget for HR & Admin and its operations including training budget (for the Group), employees compensation and incentives (for the whole company). Job Requirement Education Level: Minimum with Bachelor's Degree in any field of study. Experience: Have good knowledge and sufficient understanding of recruitment and talent acquisition, learning and development (L&D), compensation and benefit, organisational development, payrolls and employee relations. Desired Skills & Personal Traits: Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Effectively bilingual in English and Malay. Excellent interpersonal skills to foster good team dynamics and able to interact with internal and external stakeholders of all levels. Highly motivated and result-driven. High EQ and exercises critical thinking to make value-based decisions. Embrace challenge and complexity. Is ethical and acts with integrity. Up-to-date with global and local news, policy, national plans related to human resource and talent development in the fields of fintech, business, banking, investment and Islamic finance.
