Greenpeace International is looking for a Senior Insights Manager who specializes in campaigns.
This is a leadership position in our Data Team who is responsible for the ‘Data Domain’ of Campaigning, which specifically includes media & social media, digital marketing and web analytics.
Each year over 100 million people engage with Greenpeace as apart of our global campaign work, Senior Insights Manager- Campaigns works with the highest priority global initiatives and leads their team of Analysts to support this critical work and our local offices implementing it.
As part of the larger Data, Insights and Engineering teams at Greenpeace International you’ll help modernize and revolutionize how data is used to create meaningful change in the world.
Our data teams aim to provide a holistic approach to data work in support of our regional offices; through building as well as supporting data tools & platforms, standards & Governance, convening trainings & communities for specialists, as well as consulting and advising.
What we’re looking for:
Senior Insights Manager of Campaigns, is a important leadership position responsible for the implementation and execution of our Data Strategy in their domain. We’re looking for an individual who can lead our organization in understanding how data creates value in advocacy campaigns, while also keeping a close eye on the technical implementation & work your team delivers.
Remember no one has every skill or experience needed for this role and you’ll have the opportunity to learn a lot from the team. We believe someone who has a few of these is well suited to exceed in this role:
- Significant experience working on a campaign, data or digital team in an advocacy or campaigning organization (5 years+)
- Expert level knowledge in an area of analytics, or in digital marketing.
- Experience in management including line management, budget management and project management
- Broad working knowledge of digital marketing, web, social media, or media; And, how analytics contribute to the optimization of these channels. As well as a specialization in at least one.
- Proficiency in SQL or Big Query, in Google Cloud platform
- Experience with one technical work area : data warehouses or data platforms, workflow management, ELT/ETL, data modeling, analytics or data governance
- Effective communicator with ability to work collaboratively in a culturally diverse environment
- Support for and belief in the core aims and values of Greenpeace.
