Pending successful completion, a-OK anticipates engaging counsel for a nationwide roll-out.

Job Description
a-OK seeks experienced regulatory counsel to:
1. Review a-OK’s existing product materials (provided under NDA) and confirm that the offering qualifies for closed-loop or similar exemptions under applicable state statutes and FinCEN guidance.
2. Draft and file exemption packets in MA, NH, AZ, NY and respond to regulator inquiries through written confirmation.
3. Deliver an affidavit of counsel attesting to exemption eligibility (sample language supplied during the RFP stage).
4. Prepare a concise roadmap for expansion to additional jurisdictions, subject to separate engagement.
Pre- Selection Requirements-Proposal Submission
Send proposals by 25th of August 2025 including:
1. Team bios & bar admissions.
* Brief bios of the lead attorney(s) and relevant team members who will lead this effort
2. Relevant exemption experience
* Summary of prior work on prepaid access, money transmitter exemptions, or digital wallet licensing matters.
3. Fixed-fee quote for pilot + rate card for additional states.
4. Conflict-of-interest statement.
* Confirm that no conflicts exist with current or past clients that could affect your representation of a-OK. If applicable, disclose any potential conflicts and proposed mitigation.
