Our client, a prestigious hedge fund, located in New York, NY, is looking for an Administrative Assistant in their Midtown, NY office. Responsibilities of this position include greeting and directing the firm's visitors and clients, managing the office calendar, assisting with vendor payments, and sorting and distributing mail to the firm's employees. The ideal candidate will come with at least two years of experience in an Office Administration role for a large firm, preferably within the financial services industry. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required, QuickBooks is a plus.
Greeting and assisting external guests and clients and directing them upon arrival.
Handling various office administration tasks such as facilities coordination and managing the office calendar
Processing vendor invoices, assisting with accounts payable matters, and logging employee expenses
At least two years of experience in office administration for a large firm, financial services experience preferred.
Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
