About the Job Role:
This professional will have the ability to;
Multi-task their role and be able to aid the needs of sales representatives and office staff at any given time.
Manage and be responsible for the receiving, handling, storing of goods inwards.
General warehouse duties will apply.
The use of stock control system and ensuring goods are priced and barcoded before goods are distributed to our customers or replenished onto Lorries.
This role is physical and will also require a deal of heavy lifting, the weekly loading and stock replenishment onto the two sale representatives lorries and the quarterly unloading of stock on large containers.
It often can get very busy around trade show periods, seasonal periods as well as after large containers of stocks land, so you'll need to be able to triage and manage multiple tasks and stay organised.
We also expect you to communicate problems proactively and to think of ways to improve processes.

SC & PS Saunders Ltd is a wholesale firm which was founded in 1986 by two entrepreneurial brothers and continues to run as a family business today, into the third generation. SC & PS Saunders support and supply the independent retail haberdashery and sewing industry as well as the manufacturing and craft trade across the UK and Ireland. We are a key distributor of a variety of different products, who regularly introduce new lines which are bespoke to us and our customers such as trimmings, haberdashery, fabrics and all other sewing accessories.
Essential Criteria/Experience:
Ideally, prior experience of working within a warehouse however such is not mandatory.
Technical ability to be able to navigate around inventory software.
Language: English
Ability to commute to Arnold, Nottingham either via bus or car etc.
Job Types: Full-time position with hours as follows;
Monday – Thursday 9.00 – 17.00
Friday 9.00 – 3.00
Salary: £9.50 per hour
