Duties (Responsibility)
• Constantly develop existing sales processes to generate sustainable growth & Identify customer’s needs, book appointments and explain company’s products & services.
• Report to Management and submit activity/Result reports such as daily call reports, weekly task reports, monthly territory analysis, target assigned and acheived and customer wise sales report.
• Monitoring Competition in the market by gathering crucial information on competitors pricing, sales, products, delivery schedules and payment alternatives
• Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
• Developing marketing strategy and understanding current and existing client requirements
• Coordinating with logistics, production and optimize the mix for efficiency at work.
• Identify, develop, or evaluate marketing strategy, based on org’s objectives, market characteristics, and cost.
• Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
• Ananlyse the drawings from customers in coordination with Production, Quality, Purchase & share the quotations to Customer within a specific timeline
• Evaluate the reasons for rejection of quotes and take corrective actions
• Use sales forecasting or strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends
• Analyse the competitors pricing strategies and propose the management on cost optimization
• Oversee the work handled by team members- Sales Coordinators / Estimation & Planning / Customer Service
• Answer customers' queries on products, price, availability, product uses, credit terms & recommend based on customer’s needs and interests.
• Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms and delivery dates.
• Coordinate with customers after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support
• Prepare sales contracts and non- disclosure agreements as per company policy and customer requirements
• Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense reports.
• Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients and attending trade shows and conferences.
• Negotiate details of contracts and payments.
• Prepare drawings, estimates, and bids that meet specific customer needs.
• Obtain credit information about prospective customers.
• Forward orders to concerned team for planning, designing, manufacturing & dispatch
• Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers.
• Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions.
• Visit prospective buyers at commercial, industrial, or other establishments to show samples or catalogs, and to inform them about product pricing, availability, and advantages.
• Research & identify potential customers for products & provide technical and non-technical support to clients
• Recommend improved materials or machinery to management, documenting how such changes will lower costs or increase production.
