TAIGER is looking for a Software QA Engineer to join our award winning team. SOFTWARE QA ENGINEER We are building a team passionate about cutting-edge AI technology and the potential of TAIGER. You should be genuinely excited by the prospect of building new functions and leading a passionate team of high performers as TAIGER expands in scale; and be motivated by the proposition of your contributions having a real impact on TAIGER's growth. Responsibilities ● Develop suites of Units, Integration, Functional or Usability Test to perform specialized QA, such as Accuracy Testing, Precision and Recall measure, on software products related to AI, NLP and Semantic Technology. ● Solid understanding and experience in automation testing & competency to maintain automated testing script. ● Understand the product / feature in-depth from the end-user point of view and the underlying implementation. ● Understand automation framework and add automation test cases for the new features and regression test cases. ● Experienced in Java programming for automated test case development. ● Plan and execute security tests and performance tests. ● Use industry Agile practices to build and test software products and ensure technical quality through best practices such as TDD, Code Review and CI. Requirements ● MSc/BSc in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related disciplines. ● 3+ years of experience in Software Development or QA with deep understanding of software QA and testing activities. ● Strong command of testing tools, Frameworks (e.g. Junit, Selenium, JMeter) and test management tools (e.g. HP Quality Centre). ● Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes ● Experience on automation framework design and implementation is a big plus ● Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (API Automation, Web) ● Proven experience in Selenium or Cucumber ● Ability to effectively communicate within the team and clients. What your day-to-day will look like: • Metting with the SQA Lead and other QAs to identify the scope of the testing and verification protocols. • Analysing and testing existing APIs. • Writing automation scripts and implementing software applications using Python as a programming language. • Installing and configuring automation software locally or on the remote server. • Reviewing and analysing reports provided by the automation software. • Identifying quality issues and creating test reports in JIRA. • Reviewing software bug reports and including their verification into the automated test suites. • Constantly collaborating with the rest of the engineering team. The skills and traits we’re looking for: • At least 3+ years of relevant Manual QA experience • At least 3+ years of relevant Automation QA experience • Experience working in Scrum teams on highly paced, big and complex projects with large amount of people involved. • Be able to learn and understand complex products very quickly. • Experience with software testing, including knowledge of testing phases and approaches. • Experience working with web applications. • Experience creating and executing test cases from functional requirement documents and test plans. • Experience designing and executing various types of testing methodologies (e.g. Smoke, Functional, Acceptance, and Regression) • Experience defining bugs/defects and working with JIRA. • Senior experience working with APIs manually using Postman and Swagger. • Confident experience in automating API tests using Python, Postman and Selenium being considered as required. • Good experience in automating UI tests using Selenium and Python. • Senior experience in working with the test automation tools and API testing tools, such as Jenkins, Selenium, Postman, Swagger, etc. • Strong critical analysis skills, ability to think clearly and rationally, understanding the logical connection between ideas. • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
