AVEVA is hiring an Account Manager in the United Kingdom. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Account Manager role is to sell the AVEVA Performance Intelligence portfolio by calling on prospective and current customers in the defined account list and territory. Responsibilities - Build and execute account plans, incorporating fundamental enterprise software sales strategies and methods to deliver pipeline generation, sales results and accurate sales forecasts. - Leverage AVEVA Strategic Alliances, global / local partner relationships, that can positively influence the purchase of AVEVA’s software portfolio. - Use internal resources available in marketing, technical support, sales support, and customer success effectively to meet individual sales goals. - Provide assistance to the AVEVA sales team related to global accounts that may exist in the territory. - Engage both new and existing account leading with business value and scaled, fast, high business impacts. - Develop and maintain personal knowledge and skill levels with the AVEVA’s software portfolio products and sales support applications according to guidelines established by AVEVA through recurrent annual training within the Company or designated external resources. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree required - Min. 10y+ direct sales experience with proven experience of following robust sales methodologies and process, e.g. account planning, MEDDPICC, Command of the Message and accurate forecasting - Successful track record of selling complex, high value software and product agreements, quota overachievement. Understanding of industrial and critical operations landscape, Lean Six Sigma Manufacturing concepts, industrial data and analytics use cases a plus. - Experience of building effective champions and collaborative teams to support execution of your account plan and pursuits, including building a mesh of relationships with and selling to the enterprise level (e.g. calling on VP Operations, CIO, CDO and other Executives) - Evidence creating demand that delivered substantial business value - Experience selling into the General Manufacturing, Food and Beverage preferred, process, asset-intensive, energy, pharma or utilities industries a plus - Excellent communicator, capable of maintaining internal and external relationships as needed to cover multinational clients including the AVEVA Account Managers responsible for the local sites, developing a clear partner strategy and managing it to success, orchestrate and wisely leverage internal resources to maximize the impact - Must be willing to learn, customer-focused, eager to make an impact. The Cloud Ecosystem Principal is responsible for achieving companywide Alliances and Cloud Ecosystem group goals with a priority, focus and strategy on Cloud, Connected Services Agreements (CSA), and OEM new business development and consumption. These Core Goals Include Wining new OEM and CSA business: Win an agreed number of OEM and Connected Services (CSA) new logos. Leverage AVEVA's existing end-customer relationships to identify and engage key equipment vendors, machine builders, and device manufacturers to enable their digital business models. Incorporate suitable AVEVA technology embedded to their assets and/or to deliver a high value-added digital service. Drive Cloud and Edge new logo subscriptions: Leverage the aforementioned business strategies in order to drive the technology adoption of OSIsoft Cloud Services (OCS) and Edge Data Store (EDS). Work with existing CSA customers to convert existing CSAs in cloud-based subscriptions and grow the revenues by expanding the data usage in the cloud. Grow regional revenues for CSA, OEM and Cloud: Take ownership of the expansion strategies to grow the revenues with the CSA, OEM and Cloud customers. Drive high customer value with the data utilization by managing the digital ecosystem of customers and alliance partners. Manage the recurrent revenues in coordination with the customer success team. AVEVA Cloud offering enables new uses cases, allowing new (adjacent) market penetration. This strategy will be supported by the AVEVA Edge technology to enable the supplier’s equipment to be cloud ready. Notably Partner Cloud applications are an additional important drivers of OCS subscriptions. Above objectives require active coordination of AVEVA's commercial touch points globally. This coordination is not limited to, but includes local/Market leader, Partner Management and Customer Success Management. Coordination with marketing principals and product management is needed to fulfill stated goals. Key Objectives For This Role Include - Achieve the annually defined individual objectives in the assigned theater/region ensuring an VP/Market leader aligned and balanced approach for the key engagement areas outline above. - Weekly, monthly, quarterly forecast and progress report for the defined scope of work (OCS/CSA, OEM). On demand conduct, attend and/or prepare material for the forecast review based on CRM opportunities, pipeline review, monthly business review and quarterly business review. - Lead and support the go-to-market plans for the regions providing target market analysis, use case examples, best practice approaches - Coordinate regional engagement plans with sales and marketing, and provide/present OCS/CSA content - Build and maintain trust with AVEVA customer facing staff, being the dedicated go-to person for Cloud, Connected Service, and OEM related business development, account management and contractual issues - Educate customer facing staff in understanding AVEVA's Cloud, Connected Services and OEM offerings and guide positioning of existing commercial OCS/CSA/OEM programs and offering toward existing and potential customer base - Manage and engage selected accounts and partners taking direct ownership of the OCS/CSA/OEM project on request - Build and assist in maintenance of OCS/CSA/OEM related commercial programs Identify and remove obstacles to OCS/CSA/OEM business - Drive marketing plans to generate new business. Work with AVEVA Event Group and stakeholders to coordinate activities around related events.  This includes AVEVA events, partner events and external industry/market events where AVEVA or a partner may participate. - Review OSIsoft related content of the OCS/CSA/OEM partners. Examples include website, case studies, and public presentations. - The role must be fluent in the key value propositions and tools (e.g. databases, configurators, reporting repositories) available in the current OCS/CS/OEM programs (or any successor/additional sales program). - Responsibilities for pro-active and self-sufficient engagement in subregion and other theaters on request. Business travel required +50%. English language skills business fluent are mandatory. - It is expected that the role extends/adopts its responsibilities in a flexible fashion in order to react timely and pro-actively to any changing business conditions.
