About

My name is Kathleen Pearce and I am a UX/UI Designer with a background in full stack web development. I have extensive proven experience in project management and organization, education/mentorship, facilitating agile team collaboration and efficiency, and utilizing user-centric design thinking and data-backed insights to solve complex design problems. Since the onset of COVID-19, I have mainly been working as a freelance web designer and have taken on contracts varying in type and size – ranging from UI/graphic design work and consultation, e-commerce builds and set up, SEO and email design and deployment, UX research and UX design. I make design decisions with development team capacities in mind and strive to reach the best possible solution that aligns with any constraints. I am very passionate about UX Research and authentically enjoy creating research plans, executing those plans and then synthesizing data-backed insights into actionable tasks teams can do to reach goals. In addition to my web development background, I also have a strong sense of visual design and aesthetic that comes from years of being an illustrator and artist in my personal life. My extensive skillset of technological proficiency and knowledge paired with my ability to successfully and confidently lead and contribute to teams results drives me to always keep learning and improving, push boundaries and innovate and help make actionable change in the lives of users and stakeholders. I am a very hard, quick worker who has the capacity to learn new technologies and concepts very, very quickly. I am extremely adaptive and flexible, and love working with my clients to achieve exactly what they want and need!
