I am a well trained and experienced Supply Chain and Operations Manager, and I consider myself to be an asset to the company by whom I am employed. Some of the projects and achievements I have completed are: ● Being selected as a key staff member to relocate to Cape Town to open, setup and recruit staff for a new branch. ● Successfully managing Key Accounts and obtaining a 70% hit rate on new business. ● Developing detailed automated timelines for the sales department i n order for them to provide accurate delivery dates to customers and stick to deadlines. ● Developing a workflow process for the business that reduced the need for printing by 90% ● Developing a costing tool for the sourcing and sales teams to use to accurately calculate the l anded costs of their products i ncluding FEC fluctuations i n order for the sales teams to quote accurately and forecast the GP of the sale ● Developing rate matrices and volumetric calculators allowing the shipping department to quickly and accurately obtain shipping costs. ● Developing and maintaining a status report which was distributed countrywide to enable relative managers to pick up exceptions that required urgent attention to avoid customer penalties. The role quickly developed from logistics to a full supply chain oversight role, working with and leading the Sourcing Department and fulfilling a general management function as well. In my position, I report directly to the owners of the business.
