I write my own blog, called Maddie's Cancer Tales, on which I predominantly share my experiences as a young person living with a cancer diagnosis. However, I use my website as a place to share other articles about current affairs (for example recently writing about the 'Januhairy' challenge), as well as the odd travel blog, and blogs about pressing issues such as mental health.
I have a degree in Classics from the University of Warwick, so am well versed in the methods involved in essay writing. I have great research and evaluation skills, but believe my writing also has a unique personal voice.
Further, I have experience writing in a professional capacity, having completed a Policy and Public Affairs internship for a charity called Sarcoma UK, meaning I am able to write copy for policy documents and briefings.
Finally, I have both personal and professional experience copywriting for social media, having done so during my internship on behalf of the charity, as well as posting on various platforms to promote my blogs and raise awareness of issues I deem important.
