The Student Branch Chair is the key to effective student leadership. He is responsible for the overall management of all Branch affairs. Duties • Determine the strategy of the branch. • Planning the full year programs outlines • Preside at all meetings of the Student Branch. • Hold regular meetings of the Branch High-Board. • Appoint Program, Publicity, and Membership committee Chairs promptly. • Complete the annual Activity Report. • Arrange for the election of new Officers annually and report • Ensure smooth transition of information and materials to newly elected Officers. • Coordinate activities with local Section and Region volunteers. • Communicate frequently with local University IEEE Student Branches. • Supervision and evaluation of High-Board. • Managing the office to execute the plan. • Making the branch final decisions. • Approving new members or volunteers. • Signing official papers. • Watching the branch overall performance.
