Sheba.xyz is the first and the largest local service marketplace in Bangladesh for lifestyle services. Home laundry service is one of the most popular services among the 90+ services offered by Sheba.xyz.
The laundry order system was designed in 2017, strived to scale alongside the rapid growth of the startup. Elementary usability was challenged. Disparate features and experiments competed for focus. App experience and performance issues increased accordingly. So, users faced some blockers with placing an order through the Sheba.xyz app. So, we’ve decided to revamp the laundry service ordering process to resolve the issues by following the user-centric design approach.
In the team, my specific role and responsibilities included leading research and discovery, facilitating the product strategy workshop, UI designing with prototyping and usability testing.
