I painted all of them after my last visit to my island, before to move to Canada from Italy in 2018.
It's a big Collection of Acrylic paintings and each of them has a special place, a story, a memory. Arriving from the Arctic region, the Maestrale wind blows cold and lashing and rules for days and days the life of the coasts it passes through. Under its reign the colours light up sharp and dazzling, inspiring poetry. This was how the Maestrale wind, which rages in the center of the Mediterranean, was described in ancient times.
Maestrale Collection was my first solo Art Exhibit in Canada, Victoria BC.
