Project Overview Our team at Cybersphere Solutions (Pvt) Ltd. was entrusted with the comprehensive redesign and development of the Local Council Website for a major municipality in Sri Lanka. This project aimed to modernize the council’s online presence, improve user experience, and facilitate better communication between the council and its constituents. Objectives Enhance User Experience Create an intuitive and user-friendly interface for residents to access council services and information easily. Developed a mobile-friendly, responsive design to ensure accessibility across all devices. Created dedicated portals for various council services, including permits, bill payments, and service requests, making it easy for residents to find and use the services they need. Integrated interactive maps to help users locate council facilities and resources within the municipality.Developed a dynamic news section to keep residents informed about the latest council news, events, and public notices.Implemented secure online forms for applications and requests, reducing the need for in-person visits and streamlining administrative processes.Added feedback forms and community forums to encourage resident participation and feedback on local issues. Utilized WordPress as the CMS to allow easy content updates and management by the council staff.Ensured the site was optimized for search engines and fast loading times to enhance user experience and discoverability.Implemented robust security protocols to protect sensitive user data and prevent unauthorized access.
