BRINGING ELECTRONIC BANKING SERVICES TO THE UNTAPPED MARKET It is a backgrounder white paper, which was devised after thorough research and several interviews with Subject Matter Experts. It was created by me for a private company which provides electronic banking solutions to most of the banking institutions of its home region as well as to several institutions in the MENA region. This white paper highlights the importance of bringing banking facilities to the untapped market. It also highlights how prepaid cards can fulfill the need to fill the gap. It demonstrates the prototypes of prepaid card applications, which have already been implemented and running successfully.
