I am a Data Scientist with over 3 years of experience working with various startups in India, the US, and Prague. Currently, working remotely for a startup in the US pertaining to Travel Industry. Being the founding member of the company, I single-handedly led the data foundation for the company, aggregating around ~300Millions rows of data from different APIs, building scrappers, and dumbing it on BigQuery. Apart from this, I designed and deployed the arbitrage model in production which helps take advantage of arbitrage in Flight and Hotel fares. We managed to raise $300K from Airbus for our initial MVP.
As a part-time, I also worked as a Contract AI engineer for an E-commerce company in Prague where I scrapped 8.3Millions products from Aliexpress and used MongoDB, to build the product categorization model using Computer Vision and NLP techniques yielding 92% accuracy across 32 Main Product category, 1600 Sub and 5000 Child category which is currently deployed in production.
I am well versed with end-to-end system design and MLOps technique on GCP and AWS. I am research oriented with two publications in Deep Learning and Computer Vision, one of which is accepted in the prestigious 22nd Globecom held in Hawaii. I am a passionate individual with frequent Open Source contributions and ML Competition participation with a good rank. I constantly focus to deliver a high-performance result, agile and a mindset of frequent adoption and improvisation.
