Hi, my name is Selim Orhan. I studied my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration department at Middle East Technical University. Upon my graduation, I started to work for Turkish treasury, where I was responsible for the preparation of annual term programs of companies owned by treasury. This is basically the projection of cash flow and other financial statements of those companies. After two years of the experience at treasury, I started working for the central bank of turkey. My job there was not finance related. I worked under two different departments: hr and logistics. At the moment, I am responsible for the international procurement practices of our banknote printing plant. Between 2017-2019, I studied my master of finance degree at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management to have a career shift. In 2019, I completed my studies and during my master studies, I did an internship at UniCredit Bank in Munich, where I was at the Credit Research Team. I was writing research reports (investment recommendations) regarding the fixed income securities of corporates all over the Europe. Beside professional experiences, I passed CFA Level I exam and I intend to continue the exams in the following years.
