I am a purposeful and highly organized Project Manager with 17+ years of experience in Environmental Project Planning and Development. My job is to coordinate and unite the efforts of the team to achieve the main goals of the projects.
An essential part of my work is building mutually beneficial relationships with audiences of diverse backgrounds. For example, I served as an Environment&Health coordinator on a waste management project in the biggest refugee camp in Europe (Lesvos island, Greece), where my strategic planning skills allowed me to develop a waste management project in the camp ab initio and set goals and objectives for the team. Thus my background in Environment Protection enabled me to design and implement the project resulting in a 25% decrease in generating non-recyclable waste on a Municipality landfill in 5 months. In addition, I served as an HSECQ Mid-Manager in a mining company in Serbia where I monitored HSECQ company standards and ensured compliance with ISO 9000, ISO 14000, and OHSAS requirements.
