With over 7 years of valued experience in the field, I offer translation and proofreading services from Spanish, French and Catalan into English. I studied a degree in foreign languages, where I specialised in translation for marketing and business content. After spending some time living abroad, briefly in France and subsequently in Barcelona, I moved back to Barcelona, where I was able to start a career in translation at a multi-national translation agency. I was later presented with the opportunity to move into the digital media industry, where I gained valuable professional experience managing app and web development projects, firstly as part of a sales & business role (SaaS) and subsequently in a marketing orientated role, leading to my specialisation in these fields for translation. I also have professional experience translating web, blog and social media content, as well as more technical genres such as engineering, finance, IT and healthcare.
