I’m a native Russian speaker, with vast experience in the IT industry and keen interest in linguistics. I graduated from Odessa National University in 2000, with a degree in Spanish Language and Literature, although my working experience is mostly with English.
I worked as a translator/interpreter for a Russian-owned company in Mongolia, where I had to translate a lot of documents in the legal, geology, mining, oil refining and other fields from English to Russian and back.
Since 2007 I’ve been working as a part-time freelance translator for a Ukrainian translation company InText (https://intext.eu). My language pairs are English-Russian, Spanish-Russian.
My main job is however Software Product Management, due to which I have good understanding of how software localization works, and I'm willing to take part in localization projects.
