I was born in Coimbra, where I returned after high school to study electrical engineering.
During my childhood I was a boy scout and spend most of my childhood playing in nature or investigating how a computer worked without internet connection.
During my academic career I volunteered in several youth associations, among which I highlight BEST (Board of European Students of Technology) and ESN (Erasmus Student Network). In these organizations, which promote cultural exchange, I learned team management, organization of cultural activities and I practiced my English. I started a master's degree in computing but I didn't find it very interesting so I ended up not finishing my thesis. I spent a year researching pattern recognition algorithms where I developed a taste for machine learning.
In the meantime I started working at Critical Software as a Software Tester for the automotive industry. It was there that I developed knowledge in agile methodology. It also allowed me to understand how the test cycle works in software development, which are the most common errors and precautions to be taken.
After 1 year and a half of work and some money I decided to go on a backpack through South America which I have been doing for the last 4 months. I started a data science training online I intend to find a remote job in the data science field but I'm open to other options in the IT field
