Our small community-based, highly innovative nonprofit seeks a Volunteer Social Media Coordinator - simply to engage our main service beneficiaries (Educators & Researchers) as well as enthuse our main supporters (Material Donors & Funding Partners).
This will be to support our basic presence on all major social media platforms at a limited level.
Primarily via LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, as well as occasionally on YouTube.
And also to respond to general inquiries and comments on posts, as appropriate. Additionally sending our infrequent email announcements via MailChimp.
No high-end experience or skills are required. We're simply looking for someone who is inspired by our mission to support and promote hands-on laboratory-based STEM education as well as academic scientific research efforts. And who is energetic and enthusiastic to champion our cause, engage our followers and expand our audiences. Hours are totally flexible and the efforts can be performed remotely from any location. We're a very friendly, fun group and this opportunity provides a low-stress way to further develop your skills and experience, to leverage in finding other employment opportunities.
