We are looking for a talented Web Developer Volunteer that will become a Shareholder/Owner following Launch to build web applications that will help our company develop and grow.
We need your Pro Bono Website Services for our GeoBizOps.com/”Hire a VET • Hire a HERO” Program. We require a complete rebuild of the website. We purchased everything for the build (Host, Software & Plug-ins). All Content & Pics are also on Trello & ready to go for a FAST Build. It includes 1.) PremiumPress.com for the Website, 2.) BuddyList.com for the Forum & 3.) BigCommerce for the Marketplace. We spoke to (3) Designers & they all said it is about a 30-day build.
If you could please help with #1 & #2, it will at least allow us to begin helping Veterans, Small Businesses & Non-Profits. We can look at #3 afterwards, where we went to all Manufacturers for the Products, they & their Large Prime Contractors purchase for their Projects & applied & were approved to be Tier 1 Resellers or Distributors. We have all their CSV, FTP or APIs with the pics, descriptions & pricing, etc. for their Products so we can sell them online with BigCommerce.com.
For your long-term Support/Maintenance, we spoke to our Attorney & he said we are allowed to also assign 10% of all our profits (GeoBizOps.com & Hire a VET - Hire a HERO) to the Web Developer following Launch for their Design & on-going Maintenance. I can also send you our Business Plan & we will also sell for you through our website that will sell to 200,000+ Transitioning Service Members annually that will also require support.
We have everything ready to go for the build.
You will be part of a team creating websites, intranet applications, and portals. As a Web Developer, you should be familiar with front-end coding languages and frameworks like HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Ajax. In addition to having expertise in web development, we need to see that you have an engineering spirit and can write clean code. Your goal will be to create high quality systems and software applications to help our company efficiently process its data.
Responsibilities:
Develop new features and modules for existing sites.
Write code to improve the functionality of existing applications.
Test and debug code to ensure that applications function correctly.
Ensure the quality of user experience across the website and ensure web standards are maintained (e.g. best practices).
Ensure that website security complies with company policies and industry best practices.
