Hi,
I'm Elizabeth Antai, a UI/UX designer. I create user-friendly interfaces and experiences that enable users to understand how to use complex technical products. I have experience carrying out user research, creating a seamless experience for users, designing mobile apps and web apps. I'm also proficient at creating functional wireframes as well as low fidelity and high fidelity prototypes.
Working professionally as a UI/UX designer has shaped my way of thinking. I have learned how to empathize with users. Understanding and talking to my users have always been the main goal. Understanding the product I am working on is also another thing that I have learned over the period I have worked as a UI/UX designer.
The challenge I have experienced as a UI/UX designer is working on tough products, understanding what the product is all about, and coming up with a solution with users in mind. How I dealt with or resolved the challenges in my previous place of work are:
1. I built a chrome extension product to help users carry out their respective tasks seamlessly.
2. I built a product for measuring and storing URLs as an internal Admin Tool feature to help over 50 users perform their tasks and I constantly improved the features on this tool for better experiences.
3. I designed a Change Feed Tool for the Taxonomy Team of the company to help keep track of all the activities carried out on a different product I designed. This tool helped users keep track of products that were deleted, added, or changed, the time these actions were taken and who performed the action, and just to name a few.
4. I collaborated with the software engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to get these products built.
Asides from the solutions I provided for the company I worked for, I also designed a Food Delivery Mobile App to help busy professionals with the option of ordering food using.
I also worked on a Coffee Shop Mobile App to help coffee lovers order their coffee from the comfort of their spaces.
